In this role you operate and continuously improve the Flowable-based solutions that our clients run in production. You keep those platforms available, secure and fast, and you automate the work that keeps them that way.
This is an ideal position for an ambitious and open-minded DevOps Engineer who wants to make a real impact on our customers’ business while working with a modern, evolving platform.
Operations: You operate our Flowable-based solutions for clients in the financial industry, monitoring and safeguarding their availability and performance against contractually agreed SLAs.
Incident Management: You analyse fault situations, resolve them, and run post-incident reviews that turn each failure into a lasting improvement.
Platform Engineering & Automation: You own the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the platform infrastructure, and you build the automation that provisions, configures and scales it.
Change Management: You lead the change process for production infrastructure and applications: assessment, approval, coordination and implementation.
Ownership & Impact: You bring an owner's mindset, challenge the status quo, and drive initiatives from concept to completion, translating operational needs into robust, automated and scalable systems.
We are looking for a proactive, open-minded team player with a passion for cloud-native technologies, automation and continuous improvement. You think analytically and have strong problem-solving skills.
At least 3 years of experience as a Software or DevOps Engineer
Bachelor's degree, completed vocational training, or comparable qualification
Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, especially using GitOps
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or GitHub
Experience with Bash, Python or another scripting language
Strong debugging skills across distributed systems and infrastructure
Solid understanding of IAM (Identity and Access Management) concepts and their implementation
Good understanding of container and distributed-system security
Experience with contractually agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Fluent German (C1) and good English (B2) language skills
Nice to have:
Azure, Terraform and ArgoCD
Observability and platform tooling: Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Traefik, Artifactory
Java and Spring, and process automation tools (Flowable, Camunda, Activiti or similar)
PCI DSS or ISO 27001 compliance experience
